THAI WIFE VISA PATTAYA

MARRIAGE VISA PATTAYA / NON O VISA PATTAYA

Foreigners who visit Thailand typically fall in love with both the country and a Thai person, and then marry legally. In various situations, a foreigner may seek to secure a long-term visa to Thailand, often known as a Thai Marriage Visa.A Thai Marriage Visa allows foreign spouses to reside together in Thailand if they meet certain criteria.

If you lawfully marry a Thai citizen, you can apply for a one-year Non-immigrant visa “O” (based on marriage), which people frequently misidentify as a “marriage visa” (it is officially a “extension of stay based on marriage”).To be eligible for this form of visa, you must legally register your marriage in Thailand; the Thai government or family courts do not recognize a ceremonial marriage at a temple or a “common law” marriage.

Apply for a Non-Immigrant O Visa (marriage visa) before arriving in Thailand, which allows you to stay for 90 days. You can also enter Thailand on a 60-day tourist visa* and later change your status. If you meet specific qualifications, you can use a mechanism to prolong your stay in 12-month increments based on your marriage.
